Focus is a digital illustration project rooted in nostalgia and imagination.

This series is not just about what is seen, but how it feels, a reflection of my sensitivity and ability to give form to inner moments.

The inspiration came unexpectedly during a vision test for a new pair of glasses.

Peering into the vision test machine, I was struck by a sense of calm and quiet nostalgia.

The scene I encountered felt familiar, like a distant memory or a dreamlike echo of the past.

 

Through this project, I aimed to translate that emotional impression into a visual language. Using blur, noise, and subtle distortions in Illustrator, I explored how atmosphere and emotion can be layered visually. Color played a central role, helping me evoke the tactile softness of film photography and create a quietly cinematic mood.
